They say the true signs of a relationship's status is whether you look like this:
Or like this:
John is here for the weekend and although long distance relationships leave me feeling mostly like this:
For the past few days I've been nothing but this:
Tonight, he'll fly back home and once again make our divide over a thousand miles. Yet for the weekend, the space between us was mostly negative, and who in their right mind would complain about that?
I'll be back in a couple of days when my brain has pulled it together and once again I'm all yours.
Don't worry about John.
He's not the jealous type.

I'm happy when you're happy. I don't know how you do it. I was miserable when I couldn't see Bruce and he was only 20 miles away. haha.
Cool! Glad you're having fun! I was beginning to worry about you, Gorgeous--no new posts in a while and I'm going through withdrawal!
take your time with john, little lady. we'll always be here.
Yay to getting some action! Being sexually frustrated can really suck!

Aw. Adorable. Long distance is never easy and I'm sure the "negative space" times make it a bit better. Keep smiling.
what a lucky girl, he's soooo handsome!! that face, those eyes and that smile... who could resist? haha, glad you two had a nice time!
Yay for having sex! ;)
Why are you taking time to blog? Go back to your man...believe me, we will understand. My man is fishing in Ohio this weekend, so you're seeing more of your man than I am mine this weekend. Glad you're so happy hun. :-)
Jealous because you're having sex and I'm not, Happy because you had a nice weekend with your guy, Sad because you opened up some nostalgia that had been hidden and shackled away in the deep recesses of my mind, and finally, elated that you posted something because withdrawals are a bitch! :)
I was expecting more blood ... or rather, some blood?
Glad you got to enjoy your hunny this weekend, but more importantly, getting laid is ... duh, winning.
Yay! You're alive!!
I did the long distance thing for over two years, and while the time apart blew big balls, (or didn't, now that I think about it...) our time together? Fucking magical. Though I love my husband to fucking death and would never trade him for anyone, I sometimes miss that frantic passion.
I guess what I'm trying to say is I don't begrudge you if you're a few days without blogging because you're getting a little taste of magic. Enjoy it, you lucky bitch!

Snarf.
Jonas and V: What does that *mean*?!
Rest of you: I love you guys!!!! I do. It's scary what sort of withdrawals I was having. Hopped out of bed at 9am to blog. John just gave me "the look" as he sipped his coffee.
sounds like a fun! let us know how it went after you've showered off all the sex juice <3
also, how would you feel about being interviewed for my website? as of now, i'm scheduling interviews with strong, independent womens!!

Did the long distance thing myself once for a long time, and wow is it hard! But the gettogethers are amazing and sooo passionate just because you haven't seen each other in a long while. Nothing like it! I'm sure you agree :D Always wanted to wait till romantic evening time moment for loving, never made it past the first ten minutes once inside the house haha.
Unfortunately the goodbye part is not so fun. Hope you see him again soon!
I was worrying about you too Annah but this post makes me feel really good about how my friend is doing. Keep that smile on your pretty face and I hope to see you back real soon.
sweet. time for knocking boots lol
Awww...twue wuv. :)
Leia: Showered and not so ready for work. EXHAUSTED.
Meredith: Totally winning. And the blood was there. Trust.
Little readhead: You're right. The goodbye part is always a bit of a mental meltdown. But what can you do...
Odie: I'm here and will be back to normal tomorrow night :)
Rommel: As always, tour maturity levels always astound me.
Danger Boy: You're so funny. I'd say more like, puppy wuv.
Aaah love....
I just went through the same experience, but ours didn't actually work out for the better. Long-distance is the worst! It's good to see that you can actually work (despite the lack of cuddle time) Just remember, distance isn't for forever :)

Yep, you totally summed up how I feel about my semi LDR. When he's here, I'm over the moon. When he's not, I'm a little cranky. What sucks for us, though, is that we never know when he can be here for the weekend until Friday afternoon. I spend the whole day in waiting mode for his text.
Still, I wouldn't trade him for anyone more convenient.
