I found it my duty to fulfill my promise to get said gift since you *insisted* on paying for it and now I will die and I blame it on you.
Also, it doesn't really help the tattoo jitters when you walk in the parlor and there's a guy getting a massive dragon on his chest and bleeding half to death with a tragic look of sadness in his eyes and a tear down his cheek (guys are such pussies).

LOVE the shoes! and not all men are pussies when it comes to tattoos: awesome husband dozed off in the chair while getting some work done a few years ago. and for the record, i haven't shed a tear during any of my nine tattoos. or my lip or nipple piercings. i did tear up when i had my nose pierced, but that was more of a reflex. like how my eyes tear up when i tweeze my eyebrows. i think.

Jules: I went with a friend on the pretenses of both getting one. She immediately chickened out as soon as we walked in, and this made me so nervous/nauseous I felt dizzy. Somehow though, I went through with it. Tattoos on the foot are supposed to be painful because of the bone. I honestly just thought it was painful because the skin there is so soft. But that's precisely where I wanted it so I did it :) And I love it.
